Sure.  Why not?

I have ~ 600GB of GD MP3s on Crashplan.

I'll have to check it out...  Until then, I'll use Jason Sobel and Jeff Mitchell as my back-up...

It is kind of like walking around with a big diamond ring I would be terrified of losing it.

there was a cloud storage discussion on TS.com a few months ago.
as expected, many people were skeptical over the cheaper solutions than the branded copanies.  many companies use the branded companies with the expectation that 5 years from now, it will be the same service with the same price.

I don;t know what is right.  both sides have a legitimate argument.  I just started looking into an option that would let me deal with it once and be done with it.
thjen I stopped looking into it because I realized it is music.  I think sometimes people get way too carried away with having way too many copies of music.  I can;t remember the last time that I wanted a fileset and I was not able to find it.  I'm not talking about a shnid from 2000 that several other sources circulate for.  with seeing live music and listening to a variety of bands and listening to albums at home, I really don;t listen to the same 50 shows over and over again that would devastate me if I lost them.

I'm giving in to skepticism (my own that is) and trying crash plan.
if it stays around, there is no better option for peace of mind.
