no, that was a nice, enjoyable mellow solo/jam.  I'm liking this Undermind.  It sounds fresh for some reason.

This song really isn't that bad.

You're dead to me.

Granted it's not The Line, but it's still Broadway af.

The Line is actually a really brilliantly-written song from an arrangement point of view, the way the instruments all intertwine.  And when it's played right, the ascendency to the 2nd verse when Fishman comes in with real drums can be very powerful.  But it's not often tight, and it's placement is usually poor.  But I really liked the version at Lockn.  Perfect placement, and they played it well.

Trey seems to be struggling/fishing for notes in this solo....   also, his tone is super 2.0-sounding right now.

Agreed. When they started it up for the first time on Wingsuit night, I really dug the quirky playfulness. But that chorus. My God, the chorus.

Placement also an issue. And the fact that I'm pretty sure I've gotten it at the handful of shows I've been to in the past couple years doesn't help neither.

Lets get this set back on track.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.
