Just a thought...but I'm making sure I get this right.

I think that it should be the group leaders responsibility to both seed a torrent of the show AND to do a yousendit (or sendspace or whatever) of the MP3s of the show on the monday of the week that they're doing.

I think that this worked really well this week, because I hopped on the torrent, and then had the MP3s downloaded before my torrent was even 25 percent completed.

It was really handy having the music, even before I got the wav files... as I'm sure others would probably agree (right!!!??!?)

(Or not?!?!!?!?!!)

when you say group leaders... do you mean whoever's week it is to pick?

i think that would work best... as i'd be almost 100% sure that that person had said show, and could seed it.

hopefully, we can all pitch in.
if you dont have the files for a show, pm some peeps and maybe someone can up it for you when your week comes.

as far as the zip mp3 files, those are no problem for me to UL for anyone who wants me to do it for them, all my shows are on audio disc, so it is no problem at all.
i can always have those up on every monday.
i would say most people would want to dump it on their ipod first before they commit themselves to the DL of the entire show, or at least listen on their compoota.

this is a cool idea, so lets pitch in if we can help someone out that doesnt have their particular choice archived.

Oh, I definitely agree...I don't want you to think I was being a group leader Nazi...I was just making sure we were all on the same page that ultimately it's the group leader for the week who is responsible for making sure the show is available. And by that I mean, as long as SOMEONE IS SEEDING IT...then it is getting done.

Btw...what is some good .wav-->.mp3 conversion software?

I use nero's audio encoder. Another good one is dBpoweramp.
