I guess DFW is getting hammered with snow today... I am in Greenville, SC right now and my morning meetings were canceled tomorrow so I tried to get standby for an earlier flight. Apparently three of today's flights out of here to DFW being canceled means there is 0% chance I'll get on an earlier flight. Bummer!

We weren't supposed to get anything.
Woke up to a few inches and more falling.

Kids are out of school (12th consecutive day without school including weekends) but I'm @ work.
In DC, 50 miles NORTH of my house... not a single flake has fallen.

Of course the sidewalks are still nearly impassable due to snow & ice.
Attached are pics of my walk from the back door to the cars.

They are dark because it was 5:30am.

That's a genius quote.

The good thing about the snow was that it saves on gas. I was pretty much able to slide to the train station this morning and I only hit a few more parked cars than usual.

Getting half a foot or so tonight.  Not enough to close work or anything  :frustrated:
