Check out "Sherlock"

Its the tits dude.

Totally.

I just finished the second season of this last night.
Holy fucking shit dude.
Can't believe I have to wait til sometime in 2013 for more.

Gonna be worth it.

Same guy who created that adaptation is the show runner for Dr. Who now so... I'd recommend that.

Bump

Just signed up for Netflix again and we're going to start with 24.  Anything else we should be checking out?

sure it is!
HBO shows are on there, just not streaming, which I think is what this thread was intended for.  Although the thread title is a bit misleading.

VDB

Ah. Yes, I just meant streaming. We cancelled the discs a while back.
Is this still Wombat?

The wire and treme is you havent seen them yet.

Game of thrones too.

Dont really watch too many movies these days.

Watched the first season of BBC's Sherlock this week. I did not realize each "episode" was basically a 90-minute movie. Fairly entertaining. Interesting that they decided to make Holmes a brilliant but basically intolerable prick.

I was thinking about starting it. Is it not worth the time?

I just finished rewatching the first two series yesterday. Is certainly an interesting character choice. But I will say the contrast between Holmes and Watson is brilliant

And I love anything Moffat does.  Seriously.

I can only imagine how much I would hate people at an event like 'roo.

I think it makes perfect sense.  Think about your average know-it-all... Kinda insufferable at times, right? Now what if he ACTUALLY knew it all?

Also, Moffat makes great TV.
