The first, 1996-07-11, provides the primary track. The second, 1991-11-01 provides fill in bits which were sliced or mixed in. These bits include woodblocks mixed with the audience clapping in the primary source and an improved "call to his cohorts." Hopefully these edits are not to jarring. (They work ok for me.)All timings are approximate. All sources are lossless and are in compliance with the taping/trading policy of the band. This recording is not for sale.- Thanks to jedifunk for helping me locate a portion of the source material.Mixed by rowjimmy.(2005-07-19)

One of two exceptions being the 1985-06-30 (MPP, Columbia, MD) clip which is actually from the Space which preceeded The Other One. The clip contains an simulated bomb and explosion generated via midi. See below for the other exception.* This is the entire 1974-02-23 The Other One (approx 29minutes) 'folded' much in the style of John Oswald who created the "GreyFolded" album. Essentially, I took the entire 29 minute track, cut it in half, reversed the second half and overlayed it onto the first. Then I repeated the process until the track was reduced to the 1 second version currently in this mix.Venue information is not repeated so as to keep things relatively tidy. All sources are lossless and from archive.org/audio and are in compliance with the taping/trading policy of the band. "Blues for the World"A Grateful Dead mix by Rowjimmy2008-09-01Daydreaming at work as a boorish meeting wore on, I played myself a mental set of some Grateful Dead. What I heard (in my head) sounded pretty cool and I thought to recreate it. I took some notes duringthe meeting about this possible mix and, immediately afterwards, set to work compiling the material. Here's a scan of the notes I made during the meeting:You'll notice that I didn't exactly re-create the entire thing but the groundwork was there and now,You can hear the result.Enjoy.Running times are approximate:00:00 > 00:301970-10-04 - 'Til The Morning Comes00:24 > 00:311973-06-22 - Beat It On Down The Line00:30 > 00:331974-06-28 - Seastones*00:25 > 03:221981-10-06 - Space > Blues For Allah Jam01:17 > 02:081970-05-15 - Cryptical Envelopment03:07 > 04:291970-05-15 - The Other One04:07 > 11:371970-05-06 - Dancin' In the Streets Jam10:54 > 28:101974-07-19 - Eyes Of The World28:10 > 36:171973-06-10 - Stella Blue35:53 > 49:501974-06-28 - Space > Mind Left Body Jam46:24 > 51:181974-07-19 - Jam > Spanish Jam46:06 > 56:101969-11-07 - Dark Star > Uncle John's Jam56:06 > 71:421973-11-17 - Uncle John's Band (Jam) > Morning Dew71:29 > 72:381988-07-02 - Morning Dew*This Clip contains the full contents of Seastones from 1974-06-28, folded, inverted and otherwise manipulated into a single, thunderous, percussive note (with a bit of a roaring tail...)Additional notes:Thanks to the GDThread @ week4paug.net for their input/seeds/etc...Some post-processing was applied to individual clips and the mix as a whole to 'tweak' various sonic properties. If you seek out the specific shows utilized here, they may not sound the same... oh shit! Cops!
You never drink alone when you have something good to listen to.
That Stash mix is on a very long run in my car stereo. A+ material right there!
You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.
Mister Charlie told you so.
I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?
thanks for reposting these
Since you asked... they'll be coming along in a while.
You're entitled to your opinion but I'm going to laugh at it.
