people just putting their vinyl on the list, or official CDs too?

also, some of my albums have a yellow bar on the left margin, some a gray bar, some no bar. what does that mean?

I'm sticking with vinyl on there.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

^^
same thing happened to me so I just tried a different email addy and it worked.

on the one hand, this is cool - I'm spinning some albums I haven't heard in a long, long time.

on the other, I'm realizing there are some great ones that didn't survive college, ms, and 6 moves  :-(

this is cool

had some fun today although my wife begs to differ.  its fun looking for your catalog # and rating your stuff.  its interesting if you know the bands history and you have an album from say '73 but the cat# brings it up as a re-release 9 years later under a different label;).  I thought my Beatles White was an original however its a re-release 8 years later.

edit - its also fun confirming imports.

The worst is finding one that isn't in there.

Doubly so when it's a jazz or bluegrass record.

So many notations.

You must be OCD like my wife. Whenever I run into that I just think, "oh well. Guess I won't catalog that one."

I kinda went with the "Fuck it, close enough" philosophy.

I got most of mine right... the "master release" thread really helped me, then I just went to the etching when possible.
Gotta say that I really love the site though!
Thanks again PG

I've only ever completed as Dexter Gordon record.
I have several others (Zero, Seldom Scene, Rolling Stones) half entered on there.

My philosophy as well.
Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

I gave up when I found about 10 Canadian pressings of Impulse catalog stuff that weren't in there.

I have another to submit (and I'm not even 10% done catologing yet) but won't bother
