filling in some holes.
06/13/97 Chalk Dust - tasty funk into Ghost debut.
12/03/97 Funk Jam out of Possum
08/03/98 Tube - underrated version imo.
08/14/98 - first funk jam in Soundcheck
11/11/98 Halley's
10/20/13 Golden Age - sick jam!

Perhaps 8/13/97 Gumbo?  Or too slow?   8/16/97 YEM is good, too.

I'll check both out.

Whats funny that I've noticed is that all the really funky phish is pretty slow.  Check out one of the versions of Free above and you'll notice that its almost half speed.

Maybe I need to add the slow Llama.

The first section of the jam from the 4/5/98 YEM is really funky.

Are you going to cut out the composed sections/Trey soloing parts and just combine the funk parts?

I considered doing that but would have to dig back into ProTools and its been a few years.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

WhatstheUse?

Don't think I've seen the 7/29/97 Gumbo mentioned yet.  That's a funky one.
Bring in the dude!

khalpin

Wasn't the 7/25/97 Gin the one that they played on one of the FTA shows but it was an aud or am I thinking of something else?

Superfreakie

Does anyone have that Phish destroys compilation in FLAC? I believe some of it is only available in MP3.

Who's the Marmar? I'm the Marmar!!!

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

<gainesvillegreen> now, if they could get their sound to be as good as the lights, we'd have a band hee-yah!!

Music is what feelings sound like.

Just because someone did something like this once, is no reason for Ned not to move forward.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with, man.

I'm plowing forward.  Might even reload ProTools and get back into editing some smooth transitions.

I used to use WaveLab for that stuff. You've gotta use something to keep it smooth...
