i just started learing about this since i picked up my new tv this week and i think i might be susceptable to strain from FLickering.

the 40" 4k LED i got is super bright and so i instinctively lowered the backlight right away but it turns out this model kicks in PWM flickering under 50% brightness, and the frequency is really bad (low).
i knew something was bothering me right away and thought maybe it was the upscaling, but now im pretty sure its the PWM.   i changed the backlight to >50% and it seems to not bother me as much, but im really not sure i can deal with it this bright....

i got about 5 days to decide whether or not to return this thing. sucks cause its an incredible set otherwise.
anyone here ever had this issue?
