But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

hate to sound like a broken record however they should give us a whole tour, even if its DL only.  Dec.99 would be a great start.

Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

Stoked! This is a sweet release!

On a side note, I've been digging these multiple show releases (not taking into account multi night runs, ie Chicago 94) Gives some perspective on how their playing progresses through the different tours.

8/14 set II is one of, if not my #1 favorite set start to finish.

8/13 and 14 are two of the best back-to-back shows ever IMO.

August '93 is fucking amazing.

Haven't really dug into 93 that much. The official releases are hit or miss for me. Do love the Murat show though. The first time I heard that Gin...damn. Better than any drug. Wish I could do that again. Thanks for the rec's. I'm going to start putting on more August 93 shows

08/14 is an LP release. I definitely recommend giving set II a listen. It was one of the first sets that really grabbed me and made me fall in love with the band.

Obvious one, but since it hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet, New Year's 93 is about as barn-burnin' as it gets. And 12/30 is an all-timer show for me.
I'd rather dwell in some dark holler where the sun refuses to shine, where the wild birds of heaven can't hear me when I whine.

12/30/93 is why I'm still a phish head... it's the night.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul
