SALSA?!

I love salsa, and now that it's football season I was looking for peoples favs to try out.
I need some suggestions.
Right now I am digging San Pedros salsa.

Rosa Mexicano   They have a great smoked and an amazing Habenero salsa.  It's a restaurant in NYC that has started selling it.

really simple.

if you're not into chopping 8 roma tomatoes and as many jalepeno's as you want...
follow this route...

2 cans of diced tomatoes. (since they're canned, the salt's already there)
(they sell them with jalepeno's in them already, but i like fresh ones)
2 jalepeno's (this is totally up to you for hotness level. sometimes i use 3.5 )
1/2 red onion
1/2 bundle cilantro, chopped finely
lemon/lime juice to taste

mix well, chill and serve.
sometimes to mix it up a bit, i add a can of black beans. corn can work too, i'm just not a fan.
it's more the consistancy of pico de gallo sauce, but if you're more into the puree style...
throw the mixture in the blender untill it's how you like it

Nice.  I dig a good salsa too, and to me the key is fresh cilantro.  There's a place that I went for lunch when I worked in St. Charles, that had my favorite.  

Salsa is a tough one because everyone can have a different opinion.  Some like it hot, some like it with a thicker sauce, some like it more like pico de gallo.  Me I like it cantina style but then chop it finer.  So a thinner sauce with tiny chunks.  I like mine hot too.

don't have a recipe of my own...  I do my own guac too, but I never measure.  I just add stuff.

For a commercial salsa I like Big Papi spicy corn and black bean- I don't know if it's available outside of Massachusetts.  I was really surprised when I first bought it.  Lots of flavor, nice thick texture. 

I definitely recommend it to all of you Yankee fans out there!  It'l be a big hit at your next playoff party.  :-D

Sometimes I dig some roasted garlic in mine and I also dig a medium spiciness.
