Ok, so with some help from "Tubular" (on etree, I don't think he's around these parts), we'll be posting all the Phish shows that we have in 24 bit format.  Most are 24 bit, 48 kHz.  some are 24/44.1.  and there's one at 24/96.

We're going to go in reverse order, and, unfortunately, I haven't been able to track down 24 bit sources for many shows.  I'm always looking for more.  For some shows, we have two or even three 24 bit sources available.  For those, we'll seed what we subjectively think is the "better" source, and then we'll go back and seed the other version at the end.

many of these are 24 bit seeds that I originally seeded a few years ago.  Others were 24 bit sources that I managed to track down, either be downloading them from bt.etree or by getting in touch with tapers that I know.  In any case, it's been a while since many of these have been posted on bt.etree, and we figure more people are interested in 24 bit versions now than they were 2 or 3 years ago.  Not all of these sources are in the etree database yet.  As we go through the project, I'll add the sources as required...

also, when we say "no available 24 bit source", it means that we don't have one.  For some of those shows, there are 24 bit seeds in the etree database, but for most, there are no 24 bit seeds in general circulation.  Hopefully we can track more down...

there's a TON more.....literally.....a TON......I'll tell ya what, if you can motivate me to get off my ass, maybe I'll start rounding them all up and try to help somehow.....
Who's the Marmar? I'm the Marmar!!!

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

<gainesvillegreen> now, if they could get their sound to be as good as the lights, we'd have a band hee-yah!!

Music is what feelings sound like.

nice work jason, thanks. Thanks for organizing and transferring and seeding and all that stuff. It can be a bit thankless

excellent.  I know that there is a lot more out there.  at this point, I'm a lot more interested in the original 24 bit stuff, and not as much as 24 bit transfers of older tapes.  the shows that I currently have were either seeded on bt.etree a while back that I downloaded (not too many of those, as people weren't seeding 24 bit shows too often a few years back), or came from my friend Scott or any of the tapers he knew, which were only a couple...

and if you don't have the time to seed or even track and get them ready to seed, I'd be happy to send you an external HD to fill up with some more 24 bit shows, just let me know...

Many of those "older tapes" are indeed masters, so they are indeed "original" 24bit shows.....

The events in our lives happen in a sequence in time, but in their significance to ourselves they find their own order; the continuous thread of revelation.
