I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?

It absolutely pained me to vote against Stevie.

If you quit talking about it, he'll never see your vote

HA, HA! Very funny mu^tha F^$ka! What's next? Stevie drive off a cliff?
Crash into a tree?
And personally, the piano and the singing, I told you how I feel about singing...

Tough one, but I've listened to a lot more Led Zep in my day than Stevie, so I'll let that make my decision.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

I love some Led Zeppelin, but...

I love me some Sir Duke.

Seriously, LOVE zep, Bonham, one of my favorite drummers of all time, and honestly, setting up my brackets earlier thought this would be a tough choice for me but it's not. Stevie wins my vote hands down. Doesn't hurt it was my first live concert experience ever either, parents took me when I was 9, at the Capital Centre (which has lore all of it's own, as the home of my Washington Caps back in the day and my first Phish show)....The next time I saw him live wasn't till 22 years later at Jazzfest, a rainbow came out just before his set, but then half way through, the skies just opened up, but not a single person left, everyone just busted out their umbrellas and ponchos and just kept dancing their asses off in the mud....

If this doesn't get your ass shaking, I just don't know....

Sometimes we live no particular way but our own.

Yeah, that Jazzfest set ranks in my top 10 concert experiences in life... it's ranks at number one for Jazzfest sets, and that's saying a lot!
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
