Coolest song evah. I love the drop into the second chorus. Pure 80's sickness. Page should cover this.

Que te vaya bien, que te vaya bien, Te quiero más que las palabras pueden decir.

I can't help wondering what the chorus would sound like if it . . . just . . . had . . . a little more cowbell.

  :-D

Cause I got a degree

I thought this thread was going to be about how it burns to pee.

Can we talk about the Dead?  I'd love to talk about the fucking Grateful Dead, for once, can we please discuss the Grateful FUCKING Dead!?!?!?!

I deleted the other thread because I had screwed up the embed and I knew that I was going to get burned for my nubileness. I then figured out how to do it and made a new thread. Sorry I deja vu'd you.

Zappa'd?

I'm a big fan of BÖC. Learned this song on the geetar many moons ago. I still go see them if and when they come around. Last time I saw them my buddy and I pissed them off by sneaking into their soundcheck. Heh... we got an ass chewing and were promptly escorted out. Good times.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Good shit.  Great shit.  Awesome shit.

I like the Satanic undertones (overtones?).  Very, very 80's.

I agree. BÖC has so many songs other than their hits that are awesome. Stairway To The Stars, Black Blade, Harvester Of Eyes. I could go on forever. They're the thinking man's band.

They say so right in this song!

I always like this one
from before they made it big

"toss away stuff you don't need in the end
but keep what's important, and know who's your friend"
"It's a 106 miles to Chicago. We got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."

Was just CRANKING Godzilla in the bathroom while I gave my daughter a bath....they played it on KGON...I was in the studio with a band of mine back in 92 and Buck Dharma walked in.  He had just finished recording a remake of this called Burning For You '92 at the same studio.....he was a mad cool dude, and after that I continued to see him around Ithaca until I moved....

Wow, that's weird, I just had a random obsession with this song a few months ago and couldn't stop listening to it for a few weeks. It is definitely a great song - not their best, but it kinda worms its way into your head.
