The Line still sucks. Hard.

well boys, we fucked up by not being there.

Holmdel is good but Chicago is a pantheon.

I know I'll be in thd minority but PNC is the winner
We are all and we are all we are
Far flung bits of Sun and bits of Stars
From the  ocean from the land from the
beginning to end
Backwards forwards back toward
we belong

Damn that was a fun one!  :music:

Based on what I choose to listen to more often, I'm going Holmdel.

Can't deny the massive nature of the Halloween '95, but length doesn't always tell the story as we've all discussed many a time.

I'm with Heath on this one, I voted Holmdel.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I know I'm not really playing this game, but which of these has Trey saying "I'm gonna f**k you in the ass" over and over? Yup, thought so.

Also, extra credit for Rosemont since it has a vocal jam I don't ever want to skip. So much harmony going on!
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?

WhatstheUse?

Rosemount is a Monster but Holmdel is more up my alley..
Bring in the dude!

The minorities are becoming the majority! What is this upsidedown world?!?!?
Bring in the dude!

I've yet to make up my mind in this one but I gotta say I am surprised at how this one is playing out. I guess the kidz just don't have the attention span for a 45 min jam anymore.

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.

I love 07-15-99. The composed sections aren't great, but that's not really what this jam is all about anyway. Trey's Oye Como Va-esque lines ~11:15 in is when it starts getting interesting and then that great little funky jam somehow organically develops into the ragefest to close it out. One of my favorite and most frequently listened to YEMs.

Random side note: this was one of my favorite shows attended not only for the music (love the Ghost and Melt too), but because I got a pav ticket for free (only my second time in a pav, I believe) and a ride from a chick who was subletting our house that summer. More importantly, she let me play with her MASSIVE boobies later that night. I don't really have a point, just wanted to tell the big boobie story. Wait, what are we talking about again? Oh yeah.

Look, PNC's awesome and as I said I had to subjectively choose it over 12-31-95, but stop it. Halloween is like playing with some big boobies while coming off a trip. You get a super tight and energy filled YEM with a bonus 15 min spooky yet still kinda chill Halloween improv jam. And, as Pie Guy said, one of the best vocal jams evar (BTW, I thought you were speaking figuratively above; totally forgot Trey actually talks about ass fucking).

I'll gladly be in the minority on this one if that's how it works out. Halloween for me.

I hope you gave her a nice pearl necklace in exchange for the ride and ticket.
Is this still Wombat?
