Looks like McGrupp had a shitty night.  :|

What happened to that guy?

Ehh...Hopefully he'll roll in and give some deetz.

That doesn't sound good.

He was having a great time when he left here at about 2am. Something happen after that?
If you're on twitter, peep his tweets.  Just saw it, and I texted him, waiting to hear back from him.

To allay worry, I'll add that he and his girl are not unwell.

Fucked up shit is fucked up, though.

Always good when New York's finest are on your side and not the other way around.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Wait what? Need details!  What happened to SF and grup?!

Disease and Carini were nice last night but honestly it felt to me like they were trying desperately to link up but couldn't find "it." 20 years later slowed the energy from that big disease and was unnecessary IMO.  Hood encore I have no complaints, and my wife really enjoyed this set, her favorite so far.
We are all and we are all we are
Far flung bits of Sun and bits of Stars
From the  ocean from the land from the
beginning to end
Backwards forwards back toward
we belong

Apologies to Caravan, jez and Blat.

I listened to the second set this morning and liked the last 5 minutes of the Carini.
The modulations in both Disease and Carini are a little forced tho, with Trey fishing for notes.
I like that they are trying to stretch jams out, but I feel like the Dick's stuff was a little more polished and fluid sounding.

Agreed about Dicks. But from you, that's a 5 star review IMO. I thought the show had some good parts. Will listen again do sure. Way better then 29th. Worlds apart. I liked the slave and hood. Great seeing bird, pie and Wtu for a second. Saw George for one second too.

From memory, I thought the Divided Sky was really good.

think it's the cleanest 3.0 version I've heard....which doesn't say much but it was a good one

prepare to be disappointed when you re-listen.

Disease and Carini have some cool moments, but both of those jams spend a lot of time treading water.
Slave is nice.

and, umm, yeah. it was a phish show, anyway.

Have to agree.   Although I did like the Hood/Show closer.  Seemed to round it out nice.
