Third time I've picked up malware through uTorrent and their ads, so I'm looking for a new client. Any recommendations?

You're entitled to your opinion but I'm going to laugh at it.

What OS?

Also, have you tried uTorrent 2.2.1? (old version, before they sold out to BitTorrent)

I still use it, I use Windows 7 and haven't had any issues in the 6+ years I've been using it.

Mac:
Transmission
Deluge
qBittorrent

Linux:
Deluge
Transmission
kTorrent
rTorrent (CLI-based client, advanced users)

Windows:
uTorrent 2.2.1
Deluge

I'll second the recommendation for Deluge.

Might have to check out transmission.
Deluge is good though.

I've used Transmission with no problems for a while now. I like how simple and not frills it is, and the interface is intuitive for a mac user.

Cool, thanks guys. Will give Deluge a shot.

Marmar

qBittorrent works amazingly well for me on a windows machine.

Light, efficient, and regular updates....

Who's the Marmar? I'm the Marmar!!!

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

<gainesvillegreen> now, if they could get their sound to be as good as the lights, we'd have a band hee-yah!!
