So MGB was pretty great this last weekend at catskill chill.

The songs themselves are what they are, some catchy, mostly weird, Mike songs.  Scott, the guitarist doesn't blow me away but he did his thing. Mainly, the boys jammed! Without question, they jammed harder than Phish. Not that the jams were as good as phish...but the jamming mentality was there, and that got me off.

This was also the first time I'd seen young Kimock on drums and the dude rocked it.  Super solid yet loose in his jamming style. I def suggest catching this band if you can this fall!

John Morgan Kimock is definitely a talented dude.

Yeah, by far the best Phish side project.

MGB is great, but I still like both GRAB and Serialpod better.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

Serialpod killed during Zooma tour IIRC.

Serial Pod was great but I feel like it has to last longer than a weekend to be considered more than a one-off. Otherwise, Phil & Phriends or FTW would enter into this discussion.

I'll be at the Vogue show for sure... That is as long as tickets aren't $75 like they were for the last TAB tour.

And with the show being on Thursday Oct. 5th, I won't even need to use a vacation day to have the next day off. I have to go into the office to close the books on Sunday the 1st, so I'll have Friday the 6th off anyway.  :rawk:

Really?  That is some bullshit.  $75 for TAB is highway robbery.
