Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

Worst part is having to get in early to get a spot and sit through Vulfpeck.

Yeah, that just sounds horrendous.
Wait, who's opening for who here.

Have you seen Vulfpeck?

Came here to post this.
Will def get tickets. Was debating doing vulfpeck the night before at Ogden too, not worth it RJ?

From watching their webcast it seems like a lot of call and response from the audience for like almost every song.

Ask around and you'll get a variety of opinions, I'm sure.
The guys can, unquestionably, play.
However, they were kinda boring at Lockn' and the next set they played was the same and also boring.

No I haven't but all I've heard was praise from anyone who's had the chance.
Guess that's not your experience.
I heard they blew the crowd away at Jazz Fest this year.

I dug both Vulfpeck's Lockn sets from the webcast, but I can see how it might get a bit repetitive in person, especially baking in the sun like that instead of sitting at my desk in the A/C. The over-the-top quirky hipster schtick was a bit much too.

Oh yeah, I won't be going to this.

well boys, we fucked up by not being there.

They are pocket nerds - they love pockets - funky pockets, soul pockets, you name it - all they do is find a pocket and occupy it - they are really good at pockets - it's kinda their thing - their only thing - one-pocket ponies are they.

Does that get old? Sure. But pocket nerds are gonna pocket nerd.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

I think of them as a sweaty ironic wifebeater shirt

WhatstheUse?

Vulfpeck has just been all the rage this year, haven't they?

I got into them for a minute, and then, I guess it passed. Their live shows haven't enticed me.

And it's...barely their fault.  They are talented musicians. Their pocket groove is impeccable. Someone in the band is a bad ass producer/engineer. They are a studio band. That fat-warm-old-school-analog-compressed sound they got going is awesome.

But... then they somehow got picked up by the 'jam community' and were expected to be a 'live' band when they weren't exactly that.
Bring in the dude!

Kinda weird to announce a single show 7 months away, no?
