Hey,
I've been listening Phish since 99 and I've been trading on and off since then. I've had my Phish collection stolen my senior year of high school. I've been slowly rebuilding my list.

Anyways what I'm getting at is there a list somewhere of essential show for every list? I'm looking for those shows that are all killer and no filler. If anyone want to give me a hand and help me out that would be sick. I would gladly help out someone else who needs it when my list is a little more beefier.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

You really need to get your hands on EVERYTHING from Dec. 95 and the NYE run to start with...IMO one of the best, if not the best month ever for Phish. Another missing essential from fall 95 is 10/31/95.

Im sure there you'll get plenty of other recomendations but this is a good place to start.  Good Luck
Paug FTMFW!

Some early standards that don't appear on your list include:

10-30-90, 10-31-90 (http://www.livephish.com/show.asp?show=273) if you don't have it already, 11-02-90, 11-03-90, 11-04-90, and 05-28-89.

Just what I can think of off the top of my head.
Every Phish fan will have a different opinion on this subject, but, a great resource is the "Phish Companion" http://www.amazon.com/Phish-Companion-Guide-Their-Second/dp/0879307994/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-4522399-5282559?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173124694&sr=1-1
