Kinda bummed they never played Mercury this summer. It's probably my favorite tune from last year's new batch. It was even included on the Live Bait release.

Right? I wasn't even a huge fan but that song is way better then every other new song they debuted this tour.

Odd.
Bring in the dude!

Marmar

Who's the Marmar? I'm the Marmar!!!

Phish doesn't write beautiful music...the beautiful music happens after the written parts.

<gainesvillegreen> now, if they could get their sound to be as good as the lights, we'd have a band hee-yah!!

Music is what feelings sound like.

Just got home from the West Coast leg... What a great week and a half with multiple friends and family across the coast.. Jams were lacking in certain shows, setlists had some strange happenings (wtf if Mikes>Farmhouse>Paug?) and bust outs like BGCA, and others were just flat out terrible (LA) but all in all it was one of the best decisions ever.. Tour always is though.

Gorge with  then night off downtown Seattle eating sushi and walking along the pier.  Flew to San Fran and met up with a new set of friends for beers and food at Mikkeller Bar. Toronado for beers and Golden Gate Park on day two.  Woke up on the third day for oysters at Swan's then golden gate bridge.  Spent the day off in Sequoia National Park camping and exploring, holy cow that place is beautiful. Must check that out if you haven't. Stayed in Manhattan Beach for the the LA shows, checked out those bars and late night pizza afterwards. Then to San Diego where we stayed downtown right on the water, stuffed our faces with tons of food and brews at Karl Strauss downtown.  Met up with Emay on lot for Chula Vista and raged that tube jam.

That sounds like such a lousy time.
Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

Yeah I saw signs up for Mercury at 2/3 of the BGCA shows.  Thought for sure it would get played on Wednesday once the Fee sign was down as they were both dead center straight back that night.
We are all and we are all we are
Far flung bits of Sun and bits of Stars
From the  ocean from the land from the
beginning to end
Backwards forwards back toward
we belong

I put together a tentative Summer '16 mix, toughest mix to make since Fall '14 due to a lack of meat.  Will wait and see what the last 5 Summer shows bring.   :|
