Havent listened to it yet
Anything exciting in this RnR?

I was really digging the first 10 mins or so (way more than LB ) but after the Live and Let Die teases it veered pretty quickly into predictable 3.0 territory for the rest of the set.

I don't think I'd consider a 2nd slot Lizards predictable or 3.0 but maybe that's just me.

True, but that's the only example in a 10 song second set. Maybe it's the detached-ness of watching a show without being there to experience it, but watching the webcast last night it really felt like they were just going through the motions. It was all very...predictable.

I don't profess to know what's been going on this leg, only listened to night 1 all the way through.  It's only been snippets from there.

They had some momentum going by night 3 in SF, but have pretty much pissed it all away now.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

This Rock and Roll!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah guys!!!!!!  Seriously this is great shit.  Trey is in command, and playing ideas.  ugh i love this.  He's playing lead melodies that react to what Page is playing, in terms of implying chord changes and stuff.  ITS NOT JUST NOODLING.  I swear to god, I wouldn't joke about this with you all.  This IS NOT JUST NODDLING.  And Fishman changes the beat!!!!!!  It gets REAL TYPE II!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is awesome.  I really hope you guys can like it.  You should.  This is a great Rock and Roll; the segue into Lizards isn't bad at all either.

Alright, I ran through this today.  Upon revisiting.  Really, it's all about the RnR.  That's about it in my opinion.   The rest is garbage to me.
Can we talk about the Dead?  I'd love to talk about the fucking Grateful Dead, for once, can we please discuss the Grateful FUCKING Dead!?!?!?!
