Did you hear that, Trey? He's getting annoyed. Enough with the effects already.

Jan Wouter Oostenrijk - We Are Connected.

Dude plays a guitar with extra frets enabling him to play those quartertones. Maghreb  prog jazz.

Arcade Fire - Everything Now

I wrote some words about it too:

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Stereolab - Mars Audiac Quintet

Nothing like some avant-garde pop with Marxist lyrics to get the morning going at a heavily capitalistic job.

Love this band, been delving into their discography again recently. Always really dug their very unique sound. Extensive discography with lots of good stuff. Check them out if you haven't!

Here's my favorites in no particular order:

Dots and Loops
Mars Audiac Quintet
Sound-Dust
Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements (Old drone-like sound)
Cobra & Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night** (This one is definitely near the top of the list)
Emperor Tomato Ketchup** (Top of the list as well)
Phish changes the way you listen to music.

I don't know much about Stereolab but I'm pretty sure Emperor Tomato Ketchup is widely considered one of their best.
