So many thoughts.

I'll start slow....

Friday Bustout!  (last played = Coventry :police: )

Lifeboy bustout! (Last played NYE run 2011 IIRC(?) - such a fantastic song.

Daniel opener gets me as riled as anything to start a show. Great song.

So...there's that....
Bring in the dude!

I was certain they (along with us) had "forgotten" about that tune.

You never drink alone when you have something good to listen to.

Lifeboy was nice. And the first set worked.

But fuck there's not a goddamned hint of meat in the second set.

well boys, we fucked up by not being there.

The last time I saw Daniel was 7/31/93.  I've seen 151 shows since that date. It was also the last time I saw Leprechaun and the last time I heard the band and not the crowd chant "Wilson" between the "duh-duh; duh-duh"
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Gundo

Total f'ing tee up and whiff. Felt like a completely different band for the second set.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

First set is pretty enjoyable so far. Good playing through much of it. Foam is surprisingly strong considering the gap. Waking Up Dead has that intense breakdown which is worthy, albeit brief.
Gonna listen to the second first set in a bit.

Yeah so, no jams. But there's still some good playing and some good songs.
Not gonna top any best of lists.

First Friday of 3.0 isn't an accolade I'd be looking for.

Lifeboy was pretty. Tide Turns > Taste worked for me. Waves was nice.

If a show happens and only a few people re-listen to it, did it really ever happen?

No heavy hitters but a decently played show.   Not a crusher burn everything was played well imo. Had a great time. Amazing venue. I liked this better than first night, maybe. More might have been highlight for me. Could have saved the show if second encore was La Grange. They should hire me to consult on set lists. So cashed at airport right now and ironically having breakfast at Fridays!

One thing I love about Phish fans is that we legitimately don't like it when our band plays too many songs.
Is this still Wombat?
