I'm just curious to hear why so many people here dont like these shows...   I finally listened to 4/17, and I enjoyed it pretty thoroughly.  There's some pretty interesting and imaginative jamming going on in Pebbles, and the whole 2nd set is really good, even Friday.  Ok, so Trey can't hit his high notes when he mimicks his guitar line at the end of Wolfman's, and has trouble elsewhere throughout the show with his voice.  but thats not something that he can control, and frankly i think he did a good job considering.

is this show the anomaly of the run?  Because i think the playing is great; it reminds me a lot of 94/95 for some reason, in the weird wacky jamming.

what do you think?

nah dude.  im not saying its uber-completely way as-good-as-the-Deer-Creek-Gumbo or anything ;)  lol but, i was just really surprised.  i mean Trey's lick that he plays when they start the Halley's jam is wicked sweet too, and they actually remember the words to Simple!
