Third ep in as many weeks...
It's Bill Payne from Little Feat!

This was pretty cool. Dude is, obviously, a legend and was very kind. Great little chat followed by some great music.
Enjoy!

Been listening in the car this morning... just had to stop it at "I called Mike Gordon the next morning and thanked him."

Good shit! Congrats on everything, RJ. Your podcast has really hit its stride, my friend.

Thank you.

cool interview

I liked the discussion of how complex the music is

"Its easy if you know how"
"toss away stuff you don't need in the end
but keep what's important, and know who's your friend"
"It's a 106 miles to Chicago. We got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."

That P&F jam is sick!!!

btw when you were talking about the complexity of the music, did you get the chance to ask what time signature The Fan is? That's bugged me for a while

I did not but, his advice is to listen to the bassline.

Good episode.  again.  When it started, I was like "I hope he asks him about Phish Halloween" and then for a second thought you wouldn't because it was a GD show.  But then was glad you did.  Thanks!

Episodes keep flying by.

Don't sleep on this one. I interview Jesse and Drew from Elkhorn about their 2 new albums and, of course, we talk a lot about Grateful Dead.

Elkhorn interview was primo.
This one's with a cat from UK Grateful Dead cover band The Grateful Dudes. We talk about the band, coming up as a Deadhead in the UK and his memories of the Wembley '90 shows.

Talking to myself over here but here is a new episode in which I talk to someone else: Chris Forsyth.
Dude's a ripping guitar player and a good guy.

yep, I'm behind on all of my podcast listening. will check these out.

Comedian Mike Finoia turns out to be a pretty great guy. Funny and a Deadhead. We had a great talk for the latest episode.

New Episode!
Seth Olinsky from Akron/Family tells us about his latest Cy Dune release, Desert.

Then there's a sick Grateful Dead set, too.

Dig it

Good stuff.  The only negative was I could have listened to Seth for another hour.  Good job, man.
