Legit. I was 2nd row off the rail behind fishman for this, and the guitar tech came and took Mike's bass and was walking off stage and stopped at the top of the stairs cause the roar was so loud. He didn't know what to do....like, wait...they might actually have to come back for this insane a roar....and he just stood there looking across the back of the stage to where the guys might walk back out...and then they did, and he quickly turned and took the bass back. And there is this huge motherboard behind the stage, that I have no idea what it's for, but it looks like a NASA space station console set up...anyhow, the guy sitting there pointed to his watch and was motioning to someone by the stairs and kind of threw his hands in the air during the roar too, like well, if they're gonna come out, they better hurry up kinda thing...It was pretty funny to witness all that from behind there.

Two one song encores.  Can't remember the last time they did that.  They used to do it pretty frequently in olden times, not so much anymore for sure.

Very cool.  As I'm sure you can imagine, hardly any of that was discernible from the stream.  I almost killed it and went to bed, but luckily I caught the tech putting Mike's bass back onstage just in time.

You never drink alone when you have something good to listen to.

We were straight on the side stage rail, Mike side. Watched the same stuff play out.
We were yelling at the tech to put the basses back.

Oh yeah dude, I saw you over there, grooving hard on the railing. We were just around the edge from there, where you were sitting night one. Oh, and I yelled at Mike he forgot his gatorade, and he went back and got it...I think that was after the first encore.. :hereitisyousentimentalbastard :hereitisyousentimentalbastard :hereitisyousentimentalbastard

Pretty crazy how quickly they transition into the space jam in this Simple.

Makes me wonder if this is somehow Halloween related, maybe some sort of improvised soundtrack or score.

I've been hearing jams that sound very scary and Halloween-y.  TYL from 10/16 case in point.  10/19 Golden Age.  Even their micro jams/outro jams have a dark, psychedelic edge.  I heard the Who's Baba O'Riely in one.  Who knows?
