I was at a local record shop today to pick up my monthly vinyl (singular) which inevitably ends up with me walking out with 2-5 records under my arm and a slight feeling of shame. But I noticed there was a Rift vinyl at the store. I got a copy at Magna for myself and while standing in line, PG noted that some people in the tent were scrambling around for the lowest gold press numbers on the back of the covers. Didn't think much of it as all I really wanted was the record regardless. I guess what I'm getting at is do the Rift vinyls with the gold press numbers on the back mean it's the blue wax? It was only $50. If it's the blue vinyl I'll gladly swoop it up for anyone that would like the blue vinyl and send it your way.

The gold press numbers were only on the blue vinyl, there should also be an orange sticker on the front saying "This version contains a limited edition print by David Welker".
I don't think the sticker was there. So I guess you can still find the blue vinyl without the Welker print?

Maybe they opened it, took out the Welker and are now reselling it for the $50 the normal version would cost.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

It's the black vinyl. No Blues were released to stores.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

I got the black in the mail from Amazon. It's got gold pressed numbers. It's black.

OH. I didn't know that. Are they numbered from 10,000 and up. The blues were limited to 10k and mine is # 8565.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Maybe they sequenced separately.  My blue is 262 and my black is 2095 :|

seems to be no logic.

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.

Different pressings, different numbering.

Just fucking listen to it, dammit!

That's what I'm talking about.
Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

Am I the only one that finds this to be the most sterile of the first 4?
