been plowin thru may/june 74.
i gotta say i could never argue against anyone claiming this was the peak of live dead.
i probably prefer a few other eras/tours personally, but in general this tour has everything at peak levels.
-song selection/set flow, tightness of playing/full engagement from all members, sound system, jams/experimentation, x- factor, etc, etc.
-I'm still walkin', so i'm sure that I can dance-

Watched the whole 12/30/83 video last night.  What an amazing show and great video.  Shit was smoking.  Some great stuff in the first set.  Amazing Deal closer.
