Berbati's Pan

Sick show, a guy in the Notwist was using wii controllers to trigger loops and effects, hadn't seen that before.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

tonight
Keith Jarret, Gary Peacock, Jack DeJohnette

great trio - Jarret has a unique style but really swings.

also, he's the only piano player I've ever seen who spends half the show standing up at the piano, dancing while he's playing (no - I never saw Jerry Lee in his prime)
and, he HATES cameras

How's that new bass player?
just got home a little while ago.

He's good, more of a "Woody style" than Andy. That first set could have been a 2nd set in the 90's

I agree about the woody style.  I've listened to 10-30&31, and he kind of has that rattly-ass berry oakley tone that's treble-y but still blows your pants back

I've listened to chunks of the Halloween show and I agree as well. That first set is amazing.

I want to see that sort of Mule when I next get a chance (next year.)
