first snow of the year here!
not too bad but expected to get 3-4 inches by the end of the day.
There have predictions of a snowy cold winter for Denver and even worse for the mountains.

It was -26 F on the ski hill yesterday with the wind chill.
They had to cut my daughter's race club short after 2 of the kids got frostbite on their cheeks.
We kept going though.

-25 actual on my way to work a couple of days ago. Daily highs this weekend are low single digits.

Had a great time sliding my truck around town on the way to the train this morning. 90º right turn briefly seemed like it was going to be a 180º before I got it straight. That was at 5mph in 1st gear. I made sure to take the rest of them at speed.

What a shitty start to the ski season.
