I've been diggin it lately.  They've been "meh.." for a while now, but each week they have been getting better. 

I think they know they're getting extra viewers because of the Palin/election stuff, so they are trying extra hard to get some viewers back.  It's worked with me so far.

It takes a couple episodes every year for the cast and writing to hit it's stride, no exception this year.

They are really banging out the episodes while they still have Amy, I can't remember the last time there were 4 SNL's on in 4 weeks.

They're working hard this year.  You see how they are gonna go live on Thursdays during prime time for election coverage?  That should be pretty cool.
