So per their facebook group, 10KLF will be:

QuoteDave Matthews Band
Wilco
Trampled by Turtles
Wookiefoot
Widespread Panic

More announcements to be made 1/21/09, so stay tuned!!!

I'm not terribly excited of surprised by any of this.  Maybe the actual announcement will reel me in.  This is a festival I've always wanted to do because of the location/grounds, but haven't been due to lineups or other real life shenanigans.

*shenanigans is in the spell-check for this board.  I love this place.
Still on UM tour.  Don't hold it against me.

Phish isn't playing???!!1!!

Wookiefoot really rounds out that line-up.

rowjimmy

They should be added to every fest. line-up.

I've been to every 10k (that streak probably ends this year), and for the 3rd year in a row, my reaction is..... MEH

same here, I've been to the last 4, but that streak will definitely end this summer (unless of course Phish will be there....which they won't)

Great festival and have always had an amazing time, but the lineups do seem to be getting weaker, and dear God if I have to see Wookiefoot one more time I might have to hang myself  :|
Bring in the dude!

Doesn't Wookiefoot naturally appear at every festival anyway?

2006 was a great year. 08 was our first year not in attendance, I didn't really feel let down musically by missing but I have so much fun exploring the campgrounds after the music ends
the festi grounds and services there are top notch and can handle monster crowds...maybe some feesh in 2010? May as well go for 2 nights while I'm requesting

As for Wookiefoot just don't look at them or get within 100 feet and you won't get infected  :-D

It is easy to catch.

yeah, I thought that's what you got in the muddy trenches of a fest....IT was the worst, we were knee deep in sludge at one point.

looks like a huge letdown to me too.... :|  probably won't be going this year...

no one I would even really want to see besides Railroad Earth and probably Wilco
Bring in the dude!

phg

Since I only live 50 miles away, I might buy a day-pass to see one night of Panic, but I will pass if money is tight.  It would be the first 10k I've missed.

No one I know is going to be motivated to go to this.

but one should never under-estimate the power of Dave fans, I suppose....

I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?
