especially when paired with Been Caught Stealing later on.

Lol forgot about that

:-D

I missed that, as I fell asleep during Truckin. I only know that because I remember hearing the beginning of that song followed by waking up on the couch at 5:30 am.

I think it's weird they played Terrapin, knowing well in advance that Phil and Bob were going to play the whole album. I guess the Jane's cover makes it...ironic?

I couldn't decide if Neil's band was good or bad.

His band for this (and for the last couple of years) is the Promise of the Real... they usually perform as Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real, when they're not backing Neil. Lukas and Micah Nelson are the two guitarists - they are two of Willie's sons.

I've been coming to where I am from the get go

So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Aside from the absurdity of a bongo player (might be congas but c'mon) Promise Of The Real is a perfect band for Neil. Loose when they need to be, tight where it counts.
I would like to see them together.

I'd rather watch Stevie do it with his own band.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

Oh man I missed this, and I had my Syracuse hat on backwards and had popped the collar of my favorite purple polo shirt. Not to mention that my khaki shorts just came back from the dry cleaners.

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I was hitting on drunk women and talking through the whole thing.
It was amazing.

PGFest, FTW!! I saw a total of about 45 minutes of music over the course of the first three days out there! Half of that was the Barton Hills Choir, the other half was Tank and the Bangas.

FTR, I gotta say there is one performance I go out of my way to see every year and it's these kids!

Having Charlie Sexton sit in the whole set is really just gravy.
