What up Midwest!! :-D  I've been hitting three sisters since Summer Sessions '99. SCI threw down a huge Rider, and kinda stole the night. Backyard Fest for me, lived about ten miles from Chili until a few years ago. Definitely take moe or leave 'em. Al wanks alot. Last few times I've seen them Chuck's been leading more of the jams and he uses a whole lot more space. Which I like. We just go every year, it's more of a reunion. Usually about 30-40 of us go and it's the only time i see the majority of them all year. First year I'll miss, thanks  :phish: !

Short Round

Ah, Eden Prairie! To be a teenager again and make terrible decisions while hanging with a bunch of arrogant custy dickbags.

Glad I moved out of MPLS suburbia. It was terrible for me, and although I lived in EP for nearly 20 years, I'd never call it home.
No time for love Dr. Jones!

Short Round

Oh, by the way, moe. played a hell of a show in Chicago last month.

Hi & Lo > CIA > Rebub Jam > Wank Jam > Graffenberg > Rebubula

Couldn't have asked for anything more after a Flo and the first Again in 2 years first set...

Or the Time Ed and Four on Friday night. Heard EVERYTHING I was hoping for and more (first time Fearless...Rob was sounding good)...
No time for love Dr. Jones!

moe. was my alarm clock at bonnaroo. I had fallen asleep super early the night before and I woke up at about 5:30 am to moe. playing - decided to walk over and see what was going down, due to the fact that it was light out, I was amazed at how many people were still there. I was not in the same place those people were in, though.
Just two whiskies, officer.

I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?

Atlanta run was solid.

Night I (7/17)

Set: Plane Crash, Bullet> George> Skrunk, Queen of Everything> Tailspin, Seat of My Pants, Jazz Wank> Buster> Brent Black> Drums> The Other One> Brent Black
Encore: The Weight

Night II (7/18)

Set: Tubing the River Styx> The Pit, Y.O.Y., Not Coming Down> Wormwood> Deep This Time, Captain America> Mexico, Letter Home, Tombourine, Stranger than Fiction, The Race is On, Sensory Deprivation Bank, Another One Gone> Recreational Chemistry
Encore: Bring It Back Home, Down Boy

Wonderful two night run, moe was just on both nights.  They had such energy, the place was rocking both nights and the sound was wonderful.  This was a co-bill with Ratdog, but that's another thread.

Overall I thought night one was the better of the two.  The Buster> Brent Black> Drums> The Other One> Brent Black, Encore: The Weight was insane to me.  It was really cool to see Bobby take the stage with them and perform the Other One and the ending of Brent Black.

Night two had some awesome moments as well.  The Captain America > Mexico was fucking awesome and I am always down for Recreational Chemistry and it was a great version.  I snapped some pics, so check them out:

Can we talk about the Dead?  I'd love to talk about the fucking Grateful Dead, for once, can we please discuss the Grateful FUCKING Dead!?!?!?!

That show looks sick as hell! I'm gonna have to give it a listen later.

edit: I starter with the Whipping Post and was blown away!!! Jeff Austin on vocals and Marco really givin it that big organ sound it deserves. Chuck and Al tear it up as well!!!

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.
