I was jumping for joy when I saw this. I remember it feeling like my team had won the Super Bowl.

Me too, except I was living in Richmond at the time and was broke as a joke.  We didn't have the internets at the house, so I was in the middle of the public library, trying not to yell, when I saw this a day or 2 later

That's about how I felt when they announced the '09 hampton shows. I went running up and down the hall of my dorm banging on everyone's door to spread the good news.

A guy showed me $1000 cash money for my 3/6/09 ticket...

I said no.

I got Phish lotto tickets for both 12/31/02 and 3/6/9.

My sense is that 12/31/02 was a tougher ticket, but it's difficult to measure.

I still live by if you want in, you get in.  I must have a horseshoe up my ass or something, because I have had no trouble getting tickets to shows I want and not paying more than face, with one exception and when we spread the cost over the 3 nights for 3 people it was like $10 extra.
