Mumford and Sons, Avett Bros and Bob Dylan at the Grammies.
Only thing worth watching so far IMO.
Everything is connected, because it's all being created by this one consciousness. And we are tiny reflections of the mind that is creating the universe.

Saw that but wasn't familiar with any of the performances nominated in that category.  I did see LoG open for Metallica once and they didn't really do it for me.

I was surprised at how bad Dylan's voice sounded at the start of Maggie's Farm.  It got better towards the end.

I really enjoyed the Mumford and Sons and the Avett Bros, but i thought the Dylan part was kind of terrible.  I love Dylan, but man, it just hurt to hear it.

The Mumford & Sons vs. Avett Bros on who could rock harder was pretty cool though.  They both played the shit out of their songs.

That's all I watched too, but yeah agreed, it was like the Avett's wer like, what? We can rock hard too mf-ers! Then Dylan came on and just crapped on the stage.
Sometimes we live no particular way but our own.

I hear ya, I'm friends with some of the guys in Lamb so I'm a little biased.

I just digitized one of their contracts from Toad's Place tonight...

Apparently assorted Odwalla drinks (NOT SUPERFOOD) in the dressing room are super metal bro!
Just two whiskies, officer.

I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?

Exactly, and I would think that they would have eaten at home before the show.

Believe it or not they were the only band I've seen that wanted breakfast, lunch and dinner provided by the venue...
