The worst thing about new shoes is having to break them in.

I buy shoes pretty infrequently, and when I do (even though I've been buying the same brand for over 12 years now), I always find them a little uncomfortable at first.

I finally just got two new pairs of sneakers to replace ones that were literally falling apart. If I alternate between these pairs that means it'll take twice as long to break in...  :|
Is this still Wombat?

Do people find the AF1's comfortable?  Mine are super rigid and feel more like dress shoes than running shoes.

Maybe I should rock the Air Max instead?

The Max are way more comfortable that the 1's.
The Jones Beach AF1 are super comfy, tho, but they are made with a different material.

I find AF1s to be really comfortable after you've worn them 10 or 15 times.

I only wear the lows or 3/4s, couldn't tell you about the high tops.

They aren't running shoes though.

But, I don't think our fans do happily lap it up, I think they go online and talk about how it was a bad show.

I have a pair of 3/4s that I've had for about six years.

They are my go-to weekend shoes, pretty much the most comfortable shoes I own at this point.

I've definitely worn them 10-15 times, they're 3/4 and just not comfy.  I guess I'll wear them every Friday to work and see how they're doing come summer.

AF1 is a running shoe?  I would never run in those, I would though run in airmax.  the airmax 90's are cool kicks.

No, I definitely don't run in my AF1s - I suppose I used running shoes as a synonym for street shoes/sneakers/kicks in that instance.

gotcha.

but yeah it all depends.  sometimes my af1s/dunks are super comfortable, and sometimes they stay hard as a rock.  :|

Picked up a pair of these yesterday:

Pretty fresh.

He only did that cause i told him Dick's Sporting Goods was having a pretty dope sale.

I picked up these bad boys two days earlier:

The navy blue ones on the top right. Fly. Comfortable.
