Farley was kinda the best. There was year or two period of my life where I put on "Tommy Boy" to fall asleep to every single night. I'd just scroll to a random point in the movie and it was like a lullaby of background noise for me to sleep.

It's wild to think about what roles he would've played in movies since his death. He would've only gotten bigger and bigger.... in popularity!
Bring in the dude!

I couldn't even venture a guess as to how many times my wife and I have watched Tommy Boy. At least once a month since we met in 2006. Likely more than that.
I've been coming to where I am from the get go
Find that I can groove with the beat when I let go
So put your worries on hold
Get up and groove with the rhythm in your soul

Black Sheep was pretty good, too

"Whoa, what happened to you? Did you fall into some mud or something?"

"Yeah, I did. And now I'm gonna be famous because I'm the only one in the world who knows where you can find *white* mud."

"I didn't say mud, I said crud. You fall into some crud or something? I can get some water, wipe off that crud."
If this is love, I'm never going home..

"My favorite photo of the first Black Cat, which opened at 313 1/2 Sixth Street, below Midnight Cowboy massage parlor, in 1985. That's Bobby Keys of Rolling Stones fame on sax. The overhead tip jar, the vertical stage. Austin's CBGBs was where Evan Johns and Dave Alvin had their famous guitar duel after an X show across the street. BC1 got too popular and Sessums needed a bigger room circa '88, so they moved to 309 E. Sixth and became really popular. Photo by Bill Leissner."
