Today's theme only presented one challenge: which Daniel Bachman record to pick.

Daniel Bachman fav'd my post.

Who?

He has a duo w/ Tina Turner
I think Overdrive is my favorite album by them.

I asked Ike about that album, and also why he beat Tina.  He said I ain't seen nothin' yet.
You know Ike's just takin' care of business.
"I used to be 'with it', but then they changed what 'it' was and now what I'm with isn't 'it' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me"

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

Also, I just did some research. Turns out Daniel Bachman is really Stephen King.

The new one, River, is an excellent place to start.

Also, search NYCTaper and you'll find at least one live set.

His eyes were clean and pure but his mind was so deranged

I'm gonna jump in on this as soon as I can get my turntable set back up and will backtrack. Next day or two. Been swamped at work and at home.

You're entitled to your opinion but I'm going to laugh at it.

Already been playing the crap out of Oliver Nelson and Daniel Bachman because of this. I LOVE new music

wish I had Dead Weather - Sea of Cowards on vinyl, that is our ultimate road trip joint but I'm sure I can come up with a suitable runner up

Some great recommendations here, thx all! The wife and kids are loving this Daniel Bachman as we speak.
We are all and we are all we are
Far flung bits of Sun and bits of Stars
From the  ocean from the land from the
beginning to end
Backwards forwards back toward
we belong
