I grabbed the entire 2017 "Tapers Section Jam Of The Week" MP3 archive, 5GB - the MP3s are not tracked out, but do have the dates... anyone willing to download a bunch and figure out which songs are contained in the files and collectively track this thing out?

Have not heard any but willing to take a chunk and report back if I knew/was directed to where to grab them from.

ETA: and could track them too if that's what's needed....

I've got no wife today (one of five Sundays she has to work a year), all of my errands are done, so I've got and nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile. I'll give a few of these a shot today while jamming out in the batcave.  I picked at Semi-random and I'm staring with 11/09/1979 :smoke: :music: :syf:

So are we supposed to split the tracks into separate mp3's or just list the songs contained in the track? If we're splitting them, where are/how do we upload/share them?

You haven't lived until you've had a robot shart in your ear and followed along in the live setlist thread while it happens.

I was planning on just tagging the MP3 with all the song names, not splitting them.

Cool, that sounds a lot easier. I'll update the spreadsheet with songs as I listen today.

Man!!! This 11-10-79 Terrapin Station -> Playin' in The Band is amazing!!!

I've updated quite a few dates on the spreadsheet. This has been a great way to spend a day.

There's one file labeled '1982-07-RR' that you should change to be '1982-07-27'. All of the songs are from the first show of the 82 Red Rocks run.

Nice, glad you're enjoying it.  It's kinda fun to listen to things "blind".

I have this other fileset I've dubbed "Selections From The Taper's Section", which is how I thought I would tag this one, see screencap.

I guess this new set could be "Selections From The Taper's Section v2"...

I'm doing a few more of these from the office today. Not quite as enjoyable as yesterday (no  :smoke: and no  :rawk:), but still great.

I grabbed another chunk to do today at work. I've got everything from 4/8/82 - 11/8/85 loaded onto a thumb drive to play today. I doubt I'll get them all done in a single day of work, but I'll do my damnedest.  :syf:

I've been slacking.  Great work!  Will start creating the tagged files over the next few days....
