Huge bummer, but I'm not shocked. The last time I saw him play (Jazzfest 2018) I knew it would be the last time I'd see him. I think we all did.

Still. I am sad. I cannot begin to put into words how much joy this man has brought me over the years. Countless times he's had my feet moving. Don't really know what else to say. A LEGEND. Truly a legend.

Glad I got to experience that last Meters performance at Jfest 2017. RIP to a legend.
