I just don't get why you (TFG) even bother posting in a thread about a band you obviously hate so much. When others rip on Phish, they usually have at least listened to the show and like the band to certain degree (or have hopes they will get better in the future).
I'm not sure why a dissenting opinion about anything related to the Grateful Dead is such a problem. Read my post...a question to sophist and a comment on people leaving the room empty for encore. If you feel making fun of a crowd for emptying early is hate...toughen up!
A dissenting opinion would be "I thought the encore from Saturday night was pretty weak, they should of played We Bid You Goodnight," see? That's something we could discuss. No right or wrong opinion on that. Writing "lol" isn't dissenting or even discussing it dude. You know this, I know this. You want to talk about the music, let's. Otherwise, it's just a distraction if you have nothing to add. It's already been established that the Furthur crowd is the worst out there. I don't think anyone is arguing on their behalf, nor do I expect anyone to speak praises for the people that tour with Furthur. My issue here is that you're labeling your posts as dissent, when dissent implies that an initial level of satisfaction existed, and we all know that from show one, you've hated on these guys. Need I pull up your San Francisco posts about them? I'm not asking you to bend over and take a gang bang from them, I am asking that you listen to the music before you rip on it. If this was Phish, everyone would expect the same standard, and it's a reasonable one.
