Anyone watching Bloodline?  I just started up Season 3 and things are not looking good for The Rayburn's!
Phish makes me happy.  It's as simple as that.

and I watched up to middle of season 2. I really enjoyed the first season but got kinda bored with the second.

It's funny - I'm about half-way through a binge on the entire West Wing series. It's making me feel better... but it's totally fantasy. It's like watching politics porn at this point. It's just so far removed from our current reality.

I would kill for President Bartlet right now.  Hell, I'd happily take Vinick at this point!

I really don't think I had a grasp on the whole white house story as I watched this one. I definitely watched every season but I may have to revisit it and see what I can  take away now.

Instead of having to plan and save for your next vacation, why not work on creating a life you don't feel the need to escape from...

I did a full rewatch not long ago, and I think Dave nailed it when he called it politics porn -- especially if you're looking at things from the point of view of a moderate Democrat.  Imagine an America where both sides genuinely care about what's best for the country and, even when it stings, they are willing to work together and compromise for the greater good.

Ah man. I was into this show until they f'd it all up with nonsensical sci-fi in the last 2 episodes

Every show I seem to watch lately does this. The Leftovers....Bloodline....The OA..... even The Sopranoes, which isn't new, but was my first watch...  all of them totally fall apart in the last few episodes and resort to 'visions/dreams/alternative realities/psychosis' etc. etc.... it's a total cop out! You can't just answer looming questions w/ "oh.. it may or may not have been real in the first place' logic! Those bastards!

It's been a minute since I've watched a series that held me all the way through. Breaking Bad perhaps...

New season of House of Cards started up if anyone is into that.
Starting to get a little too much like art imitating life lately.

I am. Having a lot fun with my so and my eldest pointing out all the things they nicked from the plays by the Ancient Greeks and Shakespeare. We are so fucking highbrow sometimes.

Did you hear that, Trey? He's getting annoyed. Enough with the effects already.

I am not a Trekkie (honestly, I am not), but I enjoyed this. Guy is an awful singer BTW.

Aside from the narrow scope, you could be describing Leftovers.
