The fact that you bought tickets so late only confirms that people are not going out of there way to see Phish like they used to anymore. If anything, I expected them to sell out 7/3 and 7/4, and that be about it. Demand is down, and the quality of product just isn't worth the hassle for many people.
I'm not sure if I followed this thread correctly, but what guys are saying is that Dave Thomas sold crack in inner-city DC in the mid-80's, right?

You might be right, but portsmouth is also very out of the way this year. I'd suspect that a lot of people are skipping it and heading from AC > Riverbend.Also, I've never heard of people having such a hard time with SPAC tickets as with this year. I wouldn't necessarily say demand is down. Different tours breed different demands.
