I really like all the photos and video that come out of NASA. Figured a thread might catch some stuff I miss. This is a new video they recently upped and it is all MINDBLOWIN' and shit. Time lapse from the space station.

I love the shots of the city lights on earth from space. The one of the east coast is cool. You can make out Richmond, Norfolk/VA beach, Hampton, Fredericksburg and even Charlottesville. Very cool.

I once saw this interview of the guy that NASA employed to color all of the shots from the telescopes that everyone sees. Like from Hubble. The actual images have no color and he choses colors to coordinate with the gases. It was pretty interesting
