The fact that Lucerna is not here is just fake.
Game over.

Prague, Radio City, and IT all finished 1 vote back from 07-01-97 and 07-02-98.

all three of those destory Amsterdam IMO.

I hear you. If only we had as many people submitting their picks as bitching about what made the cut after the fact.

Been away for a while.  This will be fun though. Let the bitching begin.
It's like BJ Galore over here!

I use records for that and don't have to justify it to my friends.

I like how Page thinks they're about to go into Boogie On at around the 18:10 mark. At least, that's what it's always sounded like to me.

This is a tough vote. Maybe it's just the evolution of their overall sound from July to November... the jamming style in Denver sounds a little more well-honed to me. Paradiso sounds looser, more playful and a little more creative.

I'll give the nod to Denver on account of its back-to-back, and distinct, peaks.

Even though it's not even my favorite jam from that show. I've always been partial to the Tweezer...

Just fucking with you, the bitching is the best part.  :beers:

I made three ringtones out of the denver ghost. All from different parts of the jam. you can isolate any part of this jam and find it to be more awesome than most if not all of what phish plays nowadays.
sure we tend to ramble, but that was a 3 page off topic tangent on crack and doses for breakfast?

Hey, I don't know anything. Please help.

The amazing/depressing thing is, you can say that about most of the jams in this tournament.

I was tanked last night and I don't remember writing that, but I agree with myself and you.

Archie Manning was great, but the Saints still sucked ass...  7/1/97 FTW...

Oh! That! No, no, no, you're not ready to step into The Court of the Crimson King. At this stage in your training an album like that could turn you into an evil scientist.

This one is tough.......the Amsterdam ghost gets into some great funky and  :rawk: segments of the jam. The whole band blasts the crowd with the psychedelic Phish.
The 11/17/97 is like a look into how people in heaven play music. its quite amazing in most parts.

Demented here. Give me a few more years and a few hundred more shows and I'll be deaf too. WOOHOO!
