That's the band I originally fell in love with. Immediately hit the ticketbastard after the show and now have tix for 8/4 and 8/5. See you all there!
I was looking at plane tickets to Dick's during the second set

When was the last show that had 30+ minute jams in the first and second sets?

(Livephish is all lies, btw, that Lawn Boy was clearly 30:01)

If they decide to practice in the time off

One of the best 3.0 shows I have heard.
One of those shows the two 30 minute jams just kinda leaked into the rest so even though not the best song selection, it was amazing

Definitely left in aw after that one.  This band is the best.

Can't they just do this every night?!

Seems like never? 8/3/03, a three-setter, had a 25 / 31 / 39 in those respective sets (CDT / Ghost / 46 Days).

Now we know they can. It wasn't just one of those nights. They set it up in advance that they'd be jamming, and they repeatedly pulled shit out of their ass and killed it all night long. If they can do that when the pressure is on to do that, then they clearly are capable of turning it on and off whenever they want.

Why haven't they jammed like that for a whole show in ages? Did they practice that much before this tour?

ETA: my post count is how tonight felt for me (1994, for posterity)

The Sample opener/fake out jam was awesome.

I totally was all WTF :x when I heard the opening notes

I also then thought they were gonna jam sample the entire set... which didnt happen but....

gawdayum!!! Not that is one great show!! I only got to catch Sample, and Lawnboy before going to bed, but just based off of that I can easily say best 3.0 yet.  :wtu:

Guy came on HFPod on Monday and called for it to be played at this show.
