Windows Storage Spaces
« on: December 24, 2017, 02:05:42 PM »
Does anyone else use Windows Storage spaces?
It's basically software RAID, with options that mimic the various RAID types

I have a "Parity space"  for music/videos/etc.  This is vaguely equivalent to Raid 5 I think?  It requires at least three discs and makes one failable.

My OS is on a separate discrete hard drive, but I'm about to swap it for an SSD.  extra HDs always cause issues with windows reinstalls, let alone a raid-type mirror system

Curious whether anyone has dealt with this
