Iraq study group
« on: December 07, 2006, 09:22:51 AM »
I find it interesting that the group was chaired by James Baker and Lee Hamilton.  Hamilton was the vice-chair of the 9/11 Commission which imo was far from uncovering the real truths of that event.
I see the study group as a pr fix to ease the pain of the floundering Administration and Republican party.  Esp. when the justifications to invade were erroneous.  Shouldn't that be a crime in itself?
Psychologically speaking the group aims to soften animosity towards Bush Inc.  and give the citizenry a false sense of "progress" in Iraq.
Bush has maintained that although he welcomes various perspectives his principles towards Iraq will not change?
From Bush's perspective why jeopardize the U.S. strategic oil reserve(Iraq)?

edir - I will read the report and offer additional perspectives
